Members who wish to provide ADVANCE 911 detailed emergency information concerning a pre-existing medical condition may contact the Transylvania Communications office at 828-884-3188.  The information, provided on a confidential basis, may include:

1.      Nature of pre-existing medical condition

2.      Description of medications taken

3.      Detailed directions to your residence

 

This information may also be provided to the LTCA office for the use of the LTCA Duty Deputies (particularly detailed directions).  The information, logged into the 911 computer may well allow Emergency Response Services to save precious, life-saving minutes of time in responding.
